hi, im about to buy an ssd and i was wondering what would be the best way to reinstall windows? im currently using windows home premium with an anytime upgrade kit to ultimate. How would i upgrade without having to reinstall home premium and then hope the activation keys work? cloning is not an option unless it only cloans the OS, it is not an option because im currently using a 1TB segate with about 400Gb in use. i only plan on getting a 120gb ssd or maybe a 240 at most. any help is appreciated

I don't think that you can to be honest. It would be better to torrent Windows 7 Ultimate and then install it on the SSD, and then crack it. That is probably the best route to go for you.

idk if this will work but call ms and tell them what you are doing tell them that you are going to use the 1tb as a storage and then they will probably help you out. tip dont full format a ssd it can kill it
