It was and naturally is genetic but with the surgeries that are out know you can choose.So in modern day it is a choice.

Decisions and choices act on intelligence, which not all animals have high degrees of and act on instinct instead (which is genetic I think, not certain on that).

I think in this day in age, teens decide to be Gay/Bi for popularity/attention reasons.

How you feel sexually is definitely genetic.

I'm a male. I am attracted to females. Females can turn me on. Males cannot.
Despite the fact that I'd rather shoot myself then even hold hands with a guy, It's just weird. I guess what I'm trying to say, is your body tells you what you like. No one else.
