hook it up and see if xex menu is on it. if not try to put it on and if it works then yes it might be

The only way to find out is to power it up.. So send it to someone to have it reballed and try again once you get it back.

put the case back on it and buy a powersupply put towels around it then it should power up if not send it into a service shop.
