it all depends on what you would like to do in dungeons/raids

if you would like to take all the damage so others can attack then use protection like me
if you would like to do damage then use arms
if you would like to damage again use fury

but personally for a warrior i would use protection and 'tank' enemies so others can attack, you get the same xp, i just think its alot more fun

For a warrior I personally use arms for pvp and pve just because i do way more dps than a furry warrior can in this patch.

completely false lol, if you know how to play arms (stance dancing) its the #1 single target dps spec of 4.3
fury does subpar dps, although it looks cool, its quite clunky compared to arms

Most of the players don't stand dance, i can get up to 30k dps using rend overpower slam mortal strike.

Your an Idiot. First of all you can't even spell Warriors correctly and your expected to give him good advice, yea okay . Personally I don't do PvE so I can't really tell you much, but I see Arms Warriors destroy Fury Warriors in DPS if they know how to correctly re-apply bleeds, manage rage, stance dance, and manage CD. Arms is a fluent rotation, Fury is clunky it's not as solid as Arm. Now for PvP I can help you with. Arms = best why? you ask because of decent self healing, Mortal Strike, Bladestorm, Throw down/Stun, Snare, Overpower, Slam you have a decent amount of survivability talents, stun, movement immunity with Bladestorm you get Slam, Overpower,Deadly Calm = win (I shouldn't have to tell you the abilities your a big boy read up on it). Fury is not as good because I feel the lack of survivability, Movement Immunity and stun/snares. Fury is amazing for Damage you have Recklessness + Deathwish + trinkets, but again you want to be able to survive Arms is the way to go. In my opinion Arms = Arenas, Duels, BG 1v2,3, situations because if you don't have a healer you will simply die, but with Arms the self-healing and survivability abilities help you deal with really offensive teams that put tons of burst damage out and put out a considerable amount of damage (ex. Mage,Rogue). Fury is rarely seen because main of survivability that Arms has. Fury = BG, Melee Cleave RBG's (if you lucky to get in a sucessful RBG group as a Warrior except Prot spec) if you know what your doing because you can output ton of AoE (even though our AoE is one of the worst) and burst damage with the few abilities and trinkets you get and/or have (You have to know what your doing if your fury it's more advanced than Arms in a PvP situation) You shouldn't really have to go intense with gear and stuff now Mist of Pandaria is around the corner as "Blizzard Claims" patch 5.0.1 is coming to the WoW PTR soon. Just get to know your class a bit, even though some abilities will change. Feel comfortable what you like to do PvE or PvP, enjoy the Warrior is a great class that actually requires skill (unlike a Mage spamming Ice Lance). As of you TTG_ERIC just because no-one response quickly doesn't mean people don't know anything about Warriors. What is an Armory link going to do obviously he would know which spec if he was full DS Heroic assuming he tested what he liked and which one was a better choice for him... Warris is just something i call warriors, you must be stupid really. You dont have to teach me shit, i know what im doing. I havent played my warrior for a while, but in fury of the firelands or whatever the heck that patch was called, fury was based on gear, arms destroys fury in every single way, in both pve and pvp. I play both, but mainly i play pvp on my warrior.
