First of all, if this sounds stupid, I'm new and trying to learn so yeah..
But when you get infected with a UAV hack by going into someones lobby, couldn't you just copy all the mw2 game data from the ps3 to a usb and keep it there. Then, when you turn the ps3 on next time just copy over all the data from the usb that you took when you were infected.
Wouldn't you then be infected again?

No. That's only if you have a jailbroken ps3 and you have the UAV patch.

Not sure if you understand me, even though its me that just doesnt understand you.
I always get into lobbys in mw2 where I get infected with a UAV hack. This hack lasts until I turn off my ps3.
I'm thinking the data that makes this hack work must be saved somewhere so why can't we just put it on a usb then copy the hacked game data from the usb back to the ps3?

Ah. Infections are ment to last until you turn off ps3 or go the xmb menu on ps3. You can't move the infection to a usb stick without patch wich you can get with a jailbroken ps3.

There is no way just cause your not having files rewritten..
Theres no update when you get the hack so there for nothing to copy.

Ok, thanks.. Didn't think it would work. Im trying to get a 3.55 ps3 so I can host lobbies anyway, but I can't find any decently-priced ones..
