The game is still there...just halo 4 is the last hope of it to comeback

Halo4 will change all this, get it back to a very loved game.

I got told that the rank system on halo 4 will be about skill and its got highest skill achived on it. I got told that and if you were a halo fan why say its dead even every gay cod fan saying black ops 2 is against halo 4 with game of the year and halo 4 got most wanted game this year apparenty. So why is halo dead beacuse they messed the reach ranking up dose not mean that halo dead. And if you watched halo 4 videos the graphics are insane the armor we seen is looking insane and sparten ops. Halo is not dead and 343 are trying to make it the best of the best.
Halo reach was bad for some people not everyone i love all halo games their better than Cod.

They messed up the and even more with how the flag works now and not being able to put it down is a problem especially when walking into it you automatically pick it up it's just stupid where do they get these ideas?

Are you kidding me, 'Prevent Boosters?' You have basically just specified reach's ranking system in another way. Everyone would eventually be able to get a 50 because there's no way of them losing level.
I Agree that Reach was bad, and bungie completely F*cked up on that one. I like the new way Halo looks, it adds a more competitive side to it, and copying CoD elements is obviously the right way to go as it's near enough the leading FPS title at the minute. They must be doing something right.

What 343 needs to do, is to completely revert to Halo 3's Ranking system, but keep all the new stuff. It would be perfect.

I actually don't see or hear about people playing Halo, every time I sign onto Xbox LIVE there is rarely anyone on a Halo game

It's quite sad really as I love playing Halo!

Hopefully Halo 4, will put the Halos back in the spotlight
