So i applied for a partnership last night and i got an email this morning saying that i have to apply monetization first? I tried enabling it but all i get is an error saying "Signup error, please try again". Can someone tell me how to fix that or if i need to do anything else to activate monetization.

Youtube is not allowing anyone to apply for a partnership to them anymore because they said "We have too many partners" so if you go to youtube.com/partners it will bring you to the moneztion page which is a mini partnership but its not the full thing. Your computer may be glitched and if not, try a different browser. If its not that then you dont have enough views or subscribers

k1016r wroteOk, thanks. The thing is though, it said "You are now a youtube partner if you opt into monetization from your Account Settings..."lFallout wrote So i applied for a partnership last night and i got an email this morning saying that i have to apply monetization first? Try checking your email and see if you got something from Youtube that says Congratz your account is now enabled for monetization. If so you should be good and if you go to your Video Manager and select videos you want then click Actions at the top and click Monetize, They will review your video for any copyrights like music, images, videos, etc. It could take minutes, hours or atleast a day for it to be reviewed and approved/disapproved. If it is approved and you want to check. Go to Video Manager, look at the video you sent in for review and to the left of the views, likes and comments, if you see a green button with a white dollar sign ($) then that video has been approved for Monetization.
