I understand alot of people are having trouble with redeeming Xbox Live 48 Hour Trails Codes, as so am I. So Im in Contact With Xbox Support Right now and will update you guys on what they have to say for the second time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
First Time

David K: Hello, thank you for contacting Xbox Customer Support. My name is David K. Please give me a moment to review your question.

Tony: ok

David K: Hello Tony, I understand your xbox live expired so you used a 48 hour code, is that right?

Tony: Yes, and i underdstand that this is happening to alot of people.

David K: You are correct, it is a known issue that they are currently working on. You will still get your 48 hour trial, however it won't start until the issue is resolved I'm afraid. There has been some issues they'v been working on fixing today, and this is among them. SOrry about the inconvenience Tony.

David K: Also I want to warn you, please don't use anymore 48 trials on your account, they do not stack with eachother.

David K: What actually happens is that it starts 48 hour trials from the moment you enter it. So if you enter another 48 hour trial, it just starts the time over

Tony: Ok lol. i was worried it was the code. Do you know when it should be fixed?

David K: I don't but hopefully within the next few hours. If not then it should be fixed by tomorrow

Tony: Ok thank you very much! You guys are the best!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Second Time

Well to save you guys some time this stupid guy Mark said Xbox is not aware of this and tthe code I have wont work for my account.

So if anybody has a Actual 48 hour Code please PM and in return ill give you a two codes that are new and have no idea what they do but i cant use them.

On the contrary, any customer who did try was let down as this was not something we could do.

@ Tony, there is new information that we only recently became aware of.
Unfortunately too many people have been taking advantage of the 48 hour trial codes, and that's part of what happened.
The 48 hour codes were designed to ONLY work for the game they were purchased with, which was an exploit that had been unfixed for quite some time. It's recently been fixed, so getting ahold of a 48 hour trial will not give you free xbox live service (which was limited to begin with).

Sorry guys :/

I'd also like to say that agents really do their best to assist you. Sometimes we're given limited information and can tell you even less. We want to tell you more. We WANT to give you free stuff left and right to make you happy. Happy customers make our jobs easier.
But keep in mind even though Agents do their best to help you, we have rules we have to follow too. And this includes giving free stuff away. For the most part, scammers ruin that for you, any time we give out free microsoft points as an apology to a customer, free monthly subscriptions, etc. Members from several known scamming sites contact us (and some of them stupidly admit they come from places like Se7enSins) within minutes of the first free code being given out. Then they ruin it for the honest customers.
Unfortunately we don't give out free stuff like that at all, and we still get several thousand scammers every day.

Again, the agents almost always do their best to assist you.
You may catch them on a bad day, or you may catch one who's just not as good at forming his words as another agent to sound more respectful (hey we're humans!)
But that's about the best I can say, I hope it just opens a couple of people's eye's.
