I really dont understand why its common sense? A couple days ago I was searching for a way to put Cinema 4D text into photoshop but the majority of the videos involve having a black background and putting the layer on "screen" which reduces the quality and the colour of the text.

im mean its kinda obvious that your render it out and put it in Photoshop. the only thing that many people dont know how to to is change the alpha channel, but they just have to mess around with the settings.

Yea, it is common sense that rendering Alpha Channel and in .png format gives a transparent background.

Maybe some of us do know how to do this yes, but it is still a good tutorial for those who don't know how. Good job!
