I definitely say switch, just a few days ago i switched from iphone 4 to the galaxy s3 and i absolutely love it. TBH i used to be an apple fanboy and would never even consider a android but recently i decided to switch and i dont regret it for a second even though i loved my iphone. I would really recommend the galaxy s3 as it us extremely fast (never lags), extremely hackable (To your liking), a beautiful huge screen, unreal loud speaker(I know it doesnt relate but it shocks me so much), and so much more i would prefer over my old iphone any day of the week! Hope i helped, you should definitely switch!

IMO if you do get an Android, you'll want to splash out.
Buy the more expensive one and you'll see an improvement.

as the guy above me already said android is alot better for most things including development and the galaxy s3 is an awesome phone its what i have now

That was the main reason i decided to go ahead and switch. Since i already have ios6 i personally know that it is going to suck and have little to no improvement and that is what makes iphones since theyre typically the same hardware every year with little improvements.

I have a mac, iphone, ipad and all the usual apple geek stuff.

But I also have a galaxy s3 and a Sony Tablet s.
And I really cannot knock android.

thats the thing im not like u i have 2 windows computers dual booting with linux and the big thing i dont like about iphones is if u dont have a mac u cant develop for them

and ive heard all u do with android is download the packages and import into eclipse

iphone is the only apple product i own

I've got the iphone 4s and i got to say its amazingly fast + loud speakers, I think if you're good with tampering then iphone 4s
