Well if they brought Brodeur, 2013 Stanley Cup Champs.

But they should be a playoff team or at least get close. I'd say 7th or 8th seed.

They have a fantastic goaltending tandem already so I doubt Brodeur would have brought anything new to the table. Honestly though, I doubt they make the playoffs. They have a weak defense outside of Suter and Gilbert and not much depth either and their forwards - not necessarily outstanding either. Koivu's offensive production will certainly go up with Parise on the wing, which is always a plus, Koivu deserves to play with good players(finally). A guy like Heatley though has completely lost his scoring touch imo, and Setoguchi is overrated. His stats were inflated when he played in SJ. More so they don't really have a 2nd line centre - unless Granlund, easily their best prospect and comparable to Datsyuk, can make the jump to the NHL but that puts way too much expectations on a kid that's never played a game in the NHL.

I expect them to compete for the 10th spot in the west lol, I doubt they'll be making the playoffs within the next 3 years imo.
