If you go into the Marines, you're going to see a crap load of action if you take a tour in the middle east. Just a heads ^up^.

Ownall wrote Okay guys/ gals, I am 17 and going into my senior year of highschool. I am looking into the military and looking to enlist very soon, but I have many questions. I know "go ask your recruiter" - I would but each recruiter from each branch wants you to join them so they will lure you into with what I want to hear. So I am asking you guys, what do you think I should join? Either; Marines (I dont want to hear "only men join marines" bc thats not true.) , Navy , or Airforce.

Please give me your thoughts on each! It will be very helpful! Thank you soo much,.
ps: Dont hate.

Hey,

Well it all depends on you. Would you prefer being out at sea, in the air, or on the ground. I would say air force but that's just me, I think being a marine is more dangerous as you are on the ground. Air force will take sometime just because all the things you have to learn about planes and etc. Navy the boats -can't really think of one-
YOu dont have to learn about planes for the air force?

There are so many different jobs its not even funny. Not just planes.

It depends on what you want to do and what your interested in.
If you're interested in planes and aerospace type stuff join the Air Force, thats what im doing when I graduate. im also going to be a senior.
If you are interested in guns and ground type stuff, join the army.
If you are interested in ships and like traveling on waters then Navy.
If you are interested in water and naval operations then join the marines. I actually have no idea what the marines do.
But that pretty much breaks it down. Just join for what you are interested in and will keep you interested for the next 20-30 years.

Thanks guys! I know its up to me. And I made the choice between USAF and Navy. I'm meeting with a Navy recruiter Monday. and an USAF next week sometime. The thing about USAF they have better benefits than the Navy and they pay for a full ride in college. which is great!
