Personally get a Windows laptop by pro star MSI. The Best over all PC

But if you really sticking to a mac which is over priced, get a mac book pro, put as much RAM as possible and get intel 3000 graphics or something better, but usually all macs have intel 3000, if it has intell 4000 graphics OMG HAHA Nerdgasm. Anyway get a high end processor. Over i5 with over 2.0@Ghz is good

Minnesota_Nice wrote Now you're just being ridiculous.

It's like trying to compare Canon to Nikon, and being a photographer I KNOW FOR A FACT that neither brand is better. They both have strengths and weaknesses just like Apple and PC.

So get off your high horse and accept that.

Also, I'm a moderate, (Socially liberal, economically conservative), I'm not gay, and I don't want communism. So your demographics are useless. What's wrong with being liberal or gay? Are you a homophobic ****?

No I am not a homophobic. Also those were percentages, not all who own macs fall within those numbers. That is a 2nd grade statistics textbook.

Now if you excuse me i will just go edit some video with Sony Vegas pro 11, and use some of the photos i edited in Adobe Photoshop CS6, then maybe play a few games of battlefield 3 or maybe screw around in crysis while listening to some Green Day though my wireless surround sound system. Hell, i could literally run all of these programs at one time.

I know for a fact the best Apple computer you can buy is 16,000 dollars roughly, because I've built it online about 100 times and there is one in my office acting as a server.

when you say you've built it online about 100 times, do you mean building it with the most expensive stuff possible?

i've done that so many times lol

Ha you're trying to brag, cute. I run Premiere & Encore, Photoshop, Lightroom, Aperture, and DxO labs at the same time while I listen to music and check client emails at work.

Also if you aren't a liberal hating homophobe why would you point those things out?

This is freaking embarassing that we have you representing the "PC side" of this "argument." I'm honestly embarrassed.

I do that with boats and cars too haha. A guy can dream right?

@OP I feel terrible for insighting a riot on your thread but just buy a Mac Book with 2.4ghz, it will get the job done and you'll love it. If you want an iMac I'd get the big one because it's ballin' the display is huge.

I can't call this a bad recommendation, but I'm going to provide the best from the PC camp as well. Or a few, there's a ton of great variety right now. The Lenovo X230 is the perfect ultraportable laptop in my eyes, the W530 is the ultimate mobile workstation, the Asus UX31A and UX21A are the best ultrabooks, the upcoming Vizio laptops are have incredible promise, and there are some I'm forgetting. The Retina Macbook is a great option, but I wouldn't call it the best.
