My internet is generally quite good for downloading/streaming and so on, recently i noticed steam have a lot of free-to-play games and decided to download them to play. I noticed the speed of them downloading is shocking, mainly staying at 40kb/s which means the games take up to 7 hours to download. Any suggestions on what to do?

Only thing I can suggest is going to Settings>Downloads + Cloud> Estimate your Internet Connection

Also, I would do a speed test @ [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] just to make sure its not just slow internet speeds and is steam.
