ReZiKs Slime Chunk Finder Tutorial
So there are plenty of topics posted on how to randomly find slime chunks and how to make slime farms(designs), but I haven't seen any on how to use a slime chunk finder correctly and accurately to find slime chunks in your world with no trouble cause a lot of people don't know. Slimes spawn in random chunks all over your world in the lowest parts of the world, so its going to be pretty hard to find them if your just digging around randomly. A chunk is 16x16(blocks). This is suppose to decrease the amount of spam from people asking making pointless topics when everything is here..use your BRAIN!
Step One:
Old Slime Chunk Finder(Used in this tutorial): [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Newer Slime Chunk Finder: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
There are many slime chunk finder apps on the net, but I find this one is the best.
Step Two:
Your going to need to find your "World Seed". There are two ways to find it. You can either move your saved world to a USB and open it in Horizon and extract the "level.dat" file or you can just click on your world before loading it and it'll show the seed for your world.
Step Three:
So after you enter your world seed into the app.
Your going to need to find a good spot on your map to dig.. preferably a even number(ex:100,200,300 etc.). I'll just use X:0,Z:0 for example purposes.
Step Four:
Now your going to want to enter your X,Z coordinates into the app. this is your starting coordinate since mine is 0,0 ill just leave it at 0,0.
Step Five:
Enter how many blocks you want to search. dont go to high above your starting X,Z or it will not show the graph with numbers. start out small, for mine Ill just search 150 blocks in each direction.
Now click "Search for Slimes!"
Step Six:
The closest slime chunk to 0,0 is X:96,Z:16..Slimes only spawn in the lower floors of the world. Around the bottom 10 levels so lets go there.
Step Seven:
The Slime Chunk is from X96-112 , Z0-16. So you must hollow it out maybe 3-4 blocks high and that is one full slime chunk
Step Eight:
Leave the area, at least 2-3 chunks away(32-48blocks)from the slime chunk and wait for 30-60 seconds, then come back.

You have to be at least 24 blocks way from the edge of the chunk. 16 is too little.

I hope there's a Slime Chunk near my city. I don't wanna make a farm far away. Or make one at all if it is far away.
