Hey guys im looking to upgrade the ram in my PC, but i do not know what kind of motherboard it has. Will it matter what kind of Ram i put in it?

no you couldn't. the socket on your mother board isn't 1155. you would have to upgrade your motherboard also

im not to familiar with how ram works but i would assume so. i couldn't find your motherboard specs on google but if you could, look for what the standard memory is.
For example this is mine DDR3 2400+(OC)/1600/1333/1066/800, so i could use ram that said DDR3 1600. Don't quote me on this though

OP, you just need DDR2 desktop RAM. Unfortuantely it's more expensive than DDR3.
