Did I have to start a new world after the updates to get slimes or they are supposed to appear in the world create before the update?

Did slimes spawn in peacefull or you need to be easy?

You need it on easy and up and have the room hevaly light up. If you want a slime chunk map just post your seed and X&Z co-oridinates

well the only time i'm seen a slime is when i was playing on easy and it was a cave
