ok so i have been trying to lucid dream for about 2 weeks now and i get to vertigo (when the room spins) and then i start seeing vivid images or like a 2 second video is playing but its real in my room then it stops. it also feels like a big 10ft by 10ft metal wall is flying at me at a very fast speed then it stops inches from my face and it feels like im in shock that it almost hit me like i flinched and covered my body with my arms but i didnt move in my bed. ? whats happening am i lucid dreaming or is it just the start of one?

From what I've learned the beginning of lucid dreaming is supposed to be frightening. The only way to actually lucid dream is to remain calm and know that you are dreaming. Which is really hard for any body to do.

My first one wasn't that hard, as I was dreaming I actually remembered I had just gone to bed a few minutes before and bam, that's all I needed.
