Hi my m8 has a ps3 it turns on then shuts of some red light flashing away any 1 have any ideas what the problem can be. Thanx

Its sounds like what you get on xbox red rings just on ps3 you get the red light

I had this problem, you basically have a broken ps3, everytime you try to boot up your ps3, it shuts down and the red light just flashes, not to sure what the problem this is or how its fixable, there's a website where you can click on a ps3 & there's all the different problems, the light in your case is on there, just search the web and see the problem, however I had to send my ps3 back to sony and get a new one sent out to me, by any chance is this a fat/big ps3 & not a slim..

i would just bring it to gamestop and sell it to them than buy another ps3 after you get that money from selling it
