Okay so my friend and I dug down all the way to bedrock and then went up four spaces and dug out a 40 by 30 area and we just keep digging more and more but slime won't spawn! We have glow stone all over the ceiling so no mobs spawn. Any ideas on what could be wrong or what to do? And yes we have it on easy or hard usually.

It cause you didn't build the room on a slime chunk which is where slimes only spawn in.

U need a slime chunk. Use a slime chunk finder then do that, doing the way you are doing only has a 5% success rate
