I'm currently selling my Alienware M14x laptop and buying a desktop pc. I am wondering if these specs are good for running Arma 2 (DayZ,) Call of duty 4, Gta IV and minecraft.

AMD Bulldozer FX-4100 4.0GHz Quad Core CPU (Overclocked)
8GB 1333Mhz DDR3 RAM
1TB Hard Drive Storage Space
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560 1GB Graphics Card

They will run those games but you could do so much better.

Do not buy a AMD FX Series CPU, they are bad.

If i was you i would get a AMD A8-3870k APU then partner it with a AMD Radeon HD 6670. Then use it in dual graphics mode.

that is what i have done, and it runs games really smoothly and is really fast for browsing.

If he has a budget for a higher end discrete video card like a AMD 6870 for example, I say go for it.

Yes but the only reason i said the 6670 was to say about the dual graphics mode, but yes if you can afford a higher end GPU by all means get one.
