Lol. They check the consoles before they take them. Try eBay. You can probably make a good $50 or less of the console banned system and the same goes for the Pro. As for shift, probably $20 on eBay. You'll get little to nothing at Gamestop. Maybe $40 for everything. And that's if they even take the banned console which I doubt.

I don't really wanna go through the hassle of waiting for someone to buy the console, then shipping it to them. Do you think they check consoles? I have no idea..

I can 100% confirm that they DO. You'll just end up getting weird looks from the guys behind the counter for even trying. Try Craigslist if you're that worried. If someone really wants it they'll come to you.

Do you have any idea what would happen if they found out?

They'll look at you like a retard and say that they won't buy it from you. Then you'll be forced to take the walk of shame out of the store.

That's true.. Do you think they would take xbox's with broken disc drives? They can refurb them and sell them. I don't wanna waste more money on them to fix em. I just need to get of them. I have 3.

You know you can easily repair that yourself for about 40 bucks per console. All you need is a new disc drive and swap the drive circuit boards in the old one to the new one. But I'm pretty sure they do buy broken consoles. It's just that they'll probably give you next to nothing for them. Like $20 or even less each.
