Hi, guys about a week ago my xbox HDD had corrupted itself and the data on it was unretrievable but i tried the next day and the xbox HDD was fine i backed up most of my info on the hardrive but there is still some data left on that, so now it keeps saying unformatted so i tried to formmat it and it asks for my console serial i did all that but it still wont format it and now all i want to do is retrieve the last bits of data left on the harddrive. This hasw never happened to me before and would be helpful if you guys could resolve it.

If you can help me i would be much appreceative

Thanks in advance.

Take it down to your local game retailer to see if they can fix it. If they can't, just ask if they can replace it.
