So if you havent seen it in the title already.. this will contains spoilers to do with the latest batman movie
I just have one simple question.. Is the batman really dead? Because at the end of the movie he fly's an aircraft carrying a warhead out into the ocean and it shows from a distance the explosion.. but after that it shows his butler(forgotten his name) in france looking at him but not saying anything.. as if to say 'yea i know it's you, and no idgaf'.. but yet the butler was crying at his funeral like he did die.... What are your thoughts?
Sorry if the way i worded this thread sounded absolutely retarted..

It was Bruce Wayne's way of showing that he's settled down and happy that's all Alfred ever wanted for him.
And at the end he was with Selina
And his name is Alfred
And at the end he was with Selina
And his name is Alfred

If you would have paid attention earlier in the movie, Alfred said it was his dream to see him across the restaurant enjoying his life instead of running around being Batman, and that if Bruce WAS there, he wouldn't say anything to him and let him enjoy his time. Maybe he didn't know he was still alive at the funeral, if you thought someone you raised for years was dead for good, you'd cry too, wouldn't you?

so basically what happened is bruce wayne did fix the auto pilot on the thing that flew away with the bomb.
Alfred had previously mentioned in the movie that when Bruce was gone, that he went to the same coffee shop ( and i believe it was ITaly not france) and Alfred hoped one day he would see Bruce settled down with a wife also eating at the coffee shop, and they would make eye contact but that was all they would need. At the end of DKR, Bruce is there with Catwoman. During the burial ceremony Alfred had not yet seen Bruce at this coffee shop
So YES, Batman/Bruce Wayne is still alive
