There's pros and cons when buying a computer with both pc and macs so get over it people.
That does not say much. My old AMD 955 custom built rig ran fine for 2 years. Yeah..so what?
There are no pros with Apple computers, especially iMacs.
Overpriced, underpowered, glossy display, close to no upgrade options, mobile components, non customizable O/S.
It's all marketing.
The first comment on this topic by Stealth nailed it...and he owns an Apple computer.
You must not be a photographer or an artist or a freelancer of any sort.
There are a lot of pros to using an apple computer.
Like what?
The new display is great for pixel peeping, work flow, comes packaged with good software, not to mention the interface is much more appealing in my opinion.
Who are you trying to kid? It does not scale well at all and it's insanely hard to read. Plus, it'll only be a few months before Asus and the other big players come out with above standard resolutions displays in their Ultrabooks for a fraction of the price. Hell, they already have 1080p IPS panels on their Zenbook Prime Ultrabooks.

Even if I was, why would I choose an Apple computer over a 1200p Thinkpad that is a better bang for your buck machine, has THE best durability and security ( HDD / SSD fail safe built in ) out there, has lots of upgrade options ( throw in an SSD without opening anything ), has matte panels + glossy, and is geared towards a business class?
That's exactly my point, someone who puts down the extra 500-1000 dollars on Mac does it because it was the standard for a long time, it's like buying a Canon L lens for my camera, sure I can get an 85mm F/1.4 from Sigma or some other company that makes one, but the more expensive Canon L version is just, desirable.

Doesn't matter what computer you get, as long as you are satisfied with what you got and it best suits your needs.
Just because iMac's are $3,000 USD, doesn't mean you can hate/discriminate them. They are very good computers and well worth the money. Most famous YouTubers use iMacs. So don't hate on something you just don't understand. I have a iMac with Windows 7 software. I can just boot up Windows 7 any time I want to on my iMac. Windows computer is very great.
So go ahead, dislike my comment, but just remember that all of you guy's iPhones are made by the same company that makes the iMac, which you all are discriminating about.
>Well worth the money
Best joke of the day, my friend. Also, for future reference, I'm 17.
Well sir, that is your opinion. I am 23 and I personally love my iMac for editing. Don't be sarcastic.
Not opinion, fact, if you think that's opinion, you're retarded.
You must still be in pre-school.
Alright, let my guide you through what's different between a fact, and an opinion.
Wiki: "A fact, is something that has really occurred or is actually the case."
Wiki: "An opinion, is a subjective belief, and is the result of emotion or interpretation of facts."
You are wrong. Not a fact, it's an opinion. Go back to school and re-take English.
What are you trying to prove? A PC with a 2600k, 256GB SSD, and a nice 300-400 GPU can destroy the iMac in video/picture editing.

Don't listen to other people.
If you like it that's all that matters.

What are you trying to prove? You're acting like I said, "iMacs are better than Windows." Never said that. What I am trying to prove is, is that there is no legal documentation that states that Windows will always/have been better than iMacs. Your statement is invalid.

Stealth wrote Worst financial decision of your life. I have one but mine costed exactly 3,000 and some loose change.
It's the worst piece of junk in the world. Specs suck for the money.
I've had mine for 3 years and I love it.

Right now basically what you are trying to do is convince me to sell my Lexus ES-350 and buy a Camry V6 because it has nearly the same technical specs and is way cheaper.
I'm not trading my Lexus for a Camry even though they are almost the exact same car and one is much cheaper.

I'm not, I just posted that so people can see that Apple is overpriced.

Comparing computers to cars. Lol no.
So by following your logic, you and the other millions of blind sheep that follow the herd insist on spending $ on 'X' product that is overpriced, does not perform nearly as well, does not have superior build quality and durability, has no over the top configuration and selection options, no upgrade options, and does not perform nearly as well?
Kill yourself.
