They are both really judgmental genres. Dubstep fans are going to hate on people that say Rap is better and Rap fans are going to hate on Dupstep fans.

My opinion is pretty self explanatory but I honestly can't stand Dubstep. Idk how people can listen to it so much.

Well I only like very few dubstep songs, so I like rap better.

I love dubstep. But rap has more of a message to it, considering it usually has more lyrics than dubstep.

Well I really don't mind either of them but to be honest dubstep has rarely any lyrics. It's mainly only a bunch of sounds while rap on the other hand has lyrics that actually go towards something.

Not to pick sides because people have their own liking to music but rap is better because rap has a meaning behind while dubstep is just a bunch of noises and dubstep gets annoying after 30 mins of listening to it.

I think dubstep is best when you're going out with some friends or throwing a party, and rap is for more when you're home and alone. That's my opinion.

Dubstep is terrible IMO. For me dubstep is just some crappy computer noises and it all sounds the same. The remixes for dubstep are good but then the stupid drops are just a load of crap, how is 'wob wub whooop' entertaining to listen to?

Dubstep. And how people say "Rap sends more of a message" in my opinion that is a load of $#!+ All they rap about are @ss and Drugs... WTF? Yes Dubstep rarely has lyrics but it shows rebellion in our Generation that makes us stand out from the rest and say we don't want to be part of a group and just "Fit in" We can be who we are and feel comfortable and happy being who we are. That is all just my opinion don't be hating.

i just like dubstep but i do like rap artists like eminem or motivational rap songs for when im down the gym
