Clippy wrote try soundcloud. it's good, you gain followers like twitter but only post your music.

I'll try that out I see a lot of the artist in my hometown on there so I guess it's where all the indie artist are heading

Oh dude, SOUNDCLOUD! Other people said it. Do it forsure, then join some forums that deal with your genre of music or just general music forums. Post there and leave the link to your soundcloud in your signature.

Heck, leave it in the sig of every forum you're on and take every opportunity you can to get yourself out there.
