Hi lads! Well, basically, I had a 37 inch tv before I went to holiday but I sold my 37 inch tv because I wanted a gaming corner instead, that means that I wanted a smaller tv. Well, I've always had my xbox settings on 720p so I could record with my HD PVR. And I've always been using component cables. And the quality was good. But now, when I got this 25 inch tv, (it's 1080p full HD) when I'm using component cables and 720p, the quality on the xbox is horrible, it's like I would play on a standard defintion tv but the it's the same quality on the videos that I record as it was before when I had the 37 inch tv, that means that it's still good quality on the videos that I record, so there is no problem with the videos that I record, it's only problem with the quality on the xbox, when I play. So basically, everytime I want to record, I need to play in horrbile quality. SO what I want is so I could play on 720p and play in HD quality at the same time. Any suggestions? Would appreciate it so much. Thanks in advance!

Read it again please. There is no problem with the video I record. Only the quality on the xbox.

Do you think there might be something wrong with the recorder itself?

I've never heard of this, might it be the TV is too small to record or so it is blurry and pixeled?

Yeah, it's kind of blurry and pixeled. It's basically bad quality.

That might be the problem, kind of like how Minecraft needs to have a 720p TV to play split screen for it to not be pixelized.
Well it might go the same for the camera, you might need a bigger TV.
How big is your TV right now?
