CloneBear wrote Macs are great if you use them for what they are made for media. They are really well designed and have a lot of exclusive technologies (not this model but the more expensive ones with retina displays). If any of you anti mac people get a job in media one day a mac will be your best friend

You still think Macs are better for media? Seriously? This is 2012, not 2005.

Posting nonsense without having anything to back it up? Wow, you're so original and creative that it's mind blowing. You don't fit into the ignorant crowd of blind sheep at all.

Give me one reason why a Mac is better for media/business reasons over a Thinkpad T series. Please, tell me.

What gets me is that he'll never admit it and keep telling himself he's right. That's how it always goes.

I got a top of the line HP laptop, it cost me about $1500, I had it for less than a year, it was never working properly, and the customer service was awful to say the least. After an awful experience with HP, I decided to look into reasonably priced laptops with good ratings and specs. I came across a quad-core lenovo and I loved it for the year and a half i had it, the problem was I had payed 800 dollars for a computer that only lasted 18 months(warranty was out after a year). After being fed up with computers that didnt last I decided to go with a macbook pro. Ive had it for 2 years now and it still runs just as good as the day I bought it, and ended up costing the same as my HP, and I got a free printer plus 3 year warranty. Hate on apple all you want, but I will stand by apple, and the quality products they provide.

I never said they don't provide quality products. But you bought the wrong PC laptops. Simple as that. I'm not going to say every PC is better than every Mac, that would be stupid. Apple doesn't have low-end offerings and their line is limited to a few configurations.

Better graphics card for media would be a great improvement a NVIDIA NVS5400M is easily beaten by the GT 650M

That does not say much, at all. There are 100's of people on the Lenovo forum who have older generation Thinkpads that are still working regardless of their age. Yeah...so what?

Before my Acer notebook broke I had that for around 2 years or so. Yeah...so what?

They don't provide quality products - they provide top notch marketing that make you think they provide quality products that are a good buy for your dollar.

Implying other companies don't have that for people who use 3D animation software and what not.
