Would this build be able to play Skyrim on Ultra settings?(And any other high quality game released within the next 3-5 years)
*This is not the only reason that I've decided to buy this computer, I'm also not an idiot for choosing to buy from Alienware, I was weary about buying at first, but my brother owns an Alienware computer similar to the one of thinking of, and he's had no issues*

Components
English Windows 7 Professional (64 BIT)
Intel Core i7-3930K (Six Core, 12MB Cache) Overclocked up to 3.9Ghz
2GB GDDR5 NVIDIA GTX 680
16384MB (4x4GB) 1600MHz DDR3 Quad Channel
2TB SATA 6Gb/s (7200RPM) 32MB Cache
DVD+/-RW (Read/Write) 24x
Integrated HDA 7.1 Dolby Digital capability
No Security/Anti-Virus Protection
1 yr Next Day In-Home Hardware Support
Alienware Aurora Matte Black 875W Chassis
Accessories
Alienware 3D
Astral Aqua
Display Not Included
Alienware Optical Mouse
Alienware Multimedia Keyboard - UK/Irish (QWERTY)
Steam Factory Installed and Steam Extra Content

I'm aware some parts may be overpriced, but I'm buying directly from Dell, and if anything **** up, they're going to come and repair it.

So your buying from Alienware because?

1. You want to waste money.

2. You think there good.

Just out of interest, how much is all of that costing?

I wouldn't say money is a problem, and 1900.

I asked for help, not for you to preach.

And yes that would run Skyrim on Ultra, and it is future proof.

I don't feel comfortable putting something together myself, because if I **** something up, I'm going to have to keep trying to deal with it, not to sound lazy, but I have a habbit of **** things up like this. I wouldn't save a lot of money buying from another company, just a small fraction.

and Future proof? Could you give me the definition?

Future proof - It will run most games that come out in the future at high to ultra settings.

And by the way, putting a PC together is soo easy.

I felt like i was going to mess up, but it os soooo easy.

Good luck tho man.

If you build a computer yourself with that budget you'll be set for years. Plus it will be cheaper.

If your heart is set on not building it yourself even though that IS the way to go, Dell is not the second choice below that. If anything, go with someone like CyberPowerPC that offer some customization and options so you don't get totally screwed over with unreliable and non upgradable parts ( this mainly affecting the MOBO + PSU ). You're still paying more for less no matter how you put it though.

By the way, these components aren't made out of glass and falling off from a skyscraper so it'd be pretty hard to break it on accident unless you're extremely uneducated. There are literally 100's of videos showing you how to put it together step by step and they're all still very relevant. It'd take approximately 40 minutes.
