i need help. my compaq desktop [old i know] will not turn on for some reason.
i have heard about SIMILAR problems but not mine. When i try to press the power button on my computer the green light on the back of the computer goes OFF. Other people have there's blinking but mine doesn't blink or anything, it just turns off. if you have a solution for this problem and it works i will send you $2 via paypal (not a whole a lot but it will get you closer to getting Gold)
Thanks

Take off the side panel and take out the either 24 pin or 20 pin connector, blow in the connector and get the dust out, and the port. Now reconnect. BE STRONG WITH IT!!!! Don't just put it in, you gotta push it in tight. It may have just come loose. Do the same with the 12v connector usually on the top left (it's a 2x2 4 pinned connector), but be a little more gentle with that.
MAKE SURE IT ALIGNS WITH THE PINS FOR BOTH CONNECTORS
