I put it through a binary translator and what I got was 'thetrees' as opposed to 'thetres'.

If we split that word, we can get 'the trees' which I think is a reference to the fast growing trees that Alex took Jay to in an earlier entry.

He mentioned that people were tied to the trees and left to die as they stretched the person like a rack, which I thought was a hint at the origin of Slender Man.

Why would you go throught the process of downloading the video and anylising it to pause it at the right point when you could easily do it on the youtube video, also the video is just a bunch of bullsh*it.

Yeapp, this is write.. by 10 types of people he meant 0010, which is 2 because the first one is off, as is the 2nd and the fourth, the 3rd number is on which means 2, so when he said 10, he actually meant 2..! Sorry, I'm bad at explaining things!
