1st Build:
Case: Thermaltake WingRS 200
PSU: Cooler Master eXtreme Power Plus (460 watts)
Motherboard: Elitegroup A780GM-A
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5000+ (2.6GHz)
Memory: Crucial 4GB DDR2 SDRAM
Hard Drive: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 (500GB)
Optical Drive: HP dvd1040i 20x Super Multiformat DVD Writer
Graphics Card: Apollo Radeon HD 4670 (256MB)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (64-bit, OEM)
2nd Build:
Case: Raidmax Ares
PSU: hec X-Power Pro 600 600W
Motherboard: Elitegroup P45T-A
Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 (2.33GHz)
Memory: OCZ Gold Edition PC2 8500 (4GB)
Hard Drive: Samsung SpinPoint HD642JJ (640GB)
Optical Drive: Lite-On iHAS120 SATA Super AllWrite
Graphics Card: MSI R4850-T2D512
Operating System: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 (64-bit, OEM)
I would be running games like MW3, GTA IV, DayZ,etc. Also, I would be using software for editing my PS3 recordings. Thanks everyone!

These builds aren't very future proof! They really won't do much good in editing,they core 2 quad may be faster. I would go with build two if i had too,but you should re-think these builds over,you can build a much better rig at the same price

That is old hardware and I don't think you can get your hands on OCZ Gold RAM anymore. Both use some awful parts as well.

neither build could play any of those games at a playable frame rate.
