Is there anyway you can change your gamertag for free?
Obviously I would rather get it for free (If there is a way) rather than paying.

Please post if you know of a way.

I don't even think that gamertag reporting a profile works.
Just buy it, it's the only real way to get legit msp, apart from the bing rewards program.

No I don't think it does mate... And I know another way of just making a new account but I want all my game progress to stay on.
Meh. It looks like there isn't a free way xD

I think you can file transfer files from one account to another. Problem is it will have Silver Membership which is never fun.

cHANGE your name on your account something close ton your gamertag and call microsoft and say its showing your information and then you change it for free your welcome.Theey let you change it because its in thier terns of service it worked for me but my gamertag really had my name in it and if you need a new xbox say it freezes during game and theyll send you a new one

Well, you see. If you haven't paid attention to the economy. It's bad at the moment. Over millions of people lost their jobs. It's not being poor if your asking how to get free name change. It's a nice little habit called "Saving". Instead of wasting $10 every time you need to change your name.
