I've been console banned, and I was wondering if there was a certain part of the console I could renew to unban it. I'm guessing it would be much cheaper. Anyone know?

you replace the whole xbox its fairly cheep, and you can pick up the new one at walmart

the cpu the gpu the dvd drive...
and all the parts have to match up correctly or it wont work... or replace the nut in front of the xbox helps out alot to.

console Ban=Ban forever.
Make a JTAG out of it so you can at leaset say you made a JTAG.

you replace the motherboard with a matching dvd drive with the new motherboard

Dont listn to them mate this is easy and simple to do.
take the console case apart.
top, bottom, front and then the metal inside.
Take out the mobo. look underneath.
You see the x-clamps?
Take them apart and remove the heat sinks.
Ok now plug it back in. get an egg.
pop it on the cpu/gpu and turn on the console.
Well done.
You just made an eggBox 360F.
Dont forget to share the results.
