What are your opinions on AVG?

Do you use it?

If no, what do you use?

and finally..

Does it work?!

AVG is the same as any other anti-virus. It's useless compared to the human brain.

Now, to answer your questions:

No.

Nothing.

To a certain degree, yes.

I've been free for a while now... but if you want to go buy one then go for it... I used AVG for a while and then I got into the hacking scheme with runescape and stuff but I ended up stopping that when I found out its against the law.

I use Comodo, it seems to work the best in my opinion.

Even though this is more of a Malware removal tool, I would recommend Malwarebytes. It has an excellent Malware scanner which will find and remove most stubborn/painful Malware: Viruses, Trojans, Ransomware, Key Loggers, you name it.

Here is the download link for Malwarebytes:

If you're smart, you really don't need an antivirus. As long as you don't go around downloading free smileys you're ok. I mostly keep one of my computer for cracks, antiviruses like to think they are viruses.

Do not listen to the post above. You can get a virus from just 15 minutes of surfing without antivirus software. If you want a good antivirus, use avast.
On another note, Norton is terrible.
