I'm not a HEAVY gamer, the games I play don't need a whole lot to be able to run at a decent FPS. If they aren't good, can you lead me in the direction of better parts, please(about $1000 budget, will spend a little more than that)
Processor: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
Motherboard: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
RAM: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (i don't really need corsair RAM, really, I've heard patriot makes good RAM)
PSU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (And i know I could get a better one for cheaper, but whatever. I want gold plus certification w/ 1000w)
HDD: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (thinking to get 2 or 3)
Case: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (OR THE ANTEC 300)
GPU: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ]
I might get an aftermarket heatsink, IF I ever get any game(s) that are system intensive ( I doubt I will), but I think that's it, tell me if i missed anything, i might have

Again, a bad choice. Don't go for any FX CPU.

That RAM is definitely over the top if you're not playing high end games!

That amount of RAM is rarely needed, especially not for gaming.

Lol, it doesn't even compare to an i5. The i3-2100 slays the entire FX line of CPU's.

i would look at other sites and price compare at the checkout part or where ever u can do it. Also slow down on the ram, i do some gaming but i do alot of video editing and photoshop stuff, i am ok with 8 GB, but sometimes it would help with 16 when doing 3d shit. but save some money go 8.

yeah it doesn't. we've been over this. It doesn't perform as good as i5, but it's not as bad as i3.
