A good gaming laptop will be clunky and won't be very portable. Battery life on them is very short, most of the time. Honestly it's hard to recommend a gaming laptop.

I know you said not to suggest desktops but..... I don't see why not. Your laptop is gonna be huge,power hungry and only mid specs.


You can buy one but it won't perform that well, it wont be very portable and battery will die fast as hell.

So if you really want one there are some asus machines out there that I would look at. Try to avoid alienware and dell.

razer blade is awesome and its like 2 pcs in one because it has a sort of itouch in the leptop so you can game and make fb for ex look some reviews on youtube

Maybe, but it's 2800$. Thats a hefty price, especially since the specs are crap.

Okay then, how about a good desktop?
Around 1500 which is $2300 but I could always go a little higher.

I was thinking the alienware M14x is that any good?

Most certainly not. Don't get any pre-built, unless you like throwing money away, especially on an alienware. Build one yourself.
