Okay so me and my friends were trickshotting and my friend Mojo was the last one left on out team and there was only one left on the other team so the guy is nice enough to let mojo trickshot on him. this guy starts spinning on the ground and shooting and somehow hits mojo out of the air headshot from bout a football field away. so we are all laughing our A**es off and the next round starts and he says i dont want to even play this round at that exact moment a enemy predator missile calls in and is going straight for me and my other frend well mojo starts screaming "TAKE ME! TAAAAKE MEEEEE" and if somehow on cue the pred changes directions goes all the way over to mojo and kills him it was prabably the funniest thing that i ever saw on xbox. lol

The year was 1997, the location.. a rusty old trailer home in Mobile, Alabama.

It was a scorcher outside, so, I, being the 5 year old that I was at the time, treated myself to some N64 and a Zero candy bar.

My older brother (8 at the time.) came in with his hands behind his back, ranting and raving about this new game he just got called "Goldeneye."

I had never heard of James Bond, so I disregarded it. My older brother eagerly awaited his chance to pop that sucker in, and once he did, he noticed that you could play split screen.

We sat and played for hours upon hours, simply amazed at what we were playing. For back in the day, it was some advanced gaming. And even today, it's great. We played match after match, and although I never won, I kept up pretty well.

In the last match that we would play that day, we were at a tie, and needed 1 more kill to win. I was walking around in a corridor (would have screen peeked, but back then I wasn't a mischievous prick.) and didn't notice that my brother was tailing me the whole way.

I turned around and met his character face to face and then swiftly exclaimed "WAIT!" so, as a respectable business man and equal opportunity gamer, he gave me a moment to explain. A "last word," if you will.

I began thinking of how to wiggle my way out of this, but just as I realized that there was nothing I could do.. I said aloud, "Aww, shoot!" (which back then was my way of saying, 'crap.')

I very shortly came to the conclusion that I had made the worst decision of my life, for upon that day, I treaded the murky waters that have turned me into the gamer I am today, only to meet a cold barrel before bed.

God, that game was awesome. Brings back so many fond memories from my childhood.
