Is it necessary for me to get an SSD if I am planning on getting 2TB Hard Drive?

If you want an SSD, get one. If you don't, don't. A lot of people use them as boot drives since they are super fast and will eliminate the majority of slow down times but it's not a must have component.

One has nothing to do with the other. Usually you should have an adequate SSD for OS/Games if you have, and a mechanical ("normal") hard drive for storage such as that 2TB. It depends on how much you have to spend. Hard drives come in at odd prices per gigabyte, and SSD's come at usually $1 per gigabyte or higher. If you want to know the benefits of having an SSD, google is your friend
