Day-Z is free but its a Mod for a game called ARMA 2 and also need s ARMA 2 :Operation firehead i think thats the name anyway Day-z is free in a way but you need them games first

You buy Arma 2 and download the DayZ mod.

No don't listen to anyone above me. To play DayZ you have to have arma2 and ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead.
then go to this website called dayzcommander.com


From there download the DayZ commander and when you have it downloaded run it. then at the top right click versions, and install the latest updates there.


NOTE: If the DayZ commander wont install the updates, run ARMA 2 and ARMA 2 Operation Arrowhead first. Then go back to DayZ commander and install the updates and BAM there you go. You my sir can DayZ.
