First of all you have the general tab as pictured above in this you view your basic user liscense. What version of fraps you have and optiions such as Run Fraps when windows starts. Also below is the option to Monitor Aero Desktop (DWM)this is basically the option to record your desktop and anything such as browseing the interner this is especially useful for recording a unrecognised game such as a flash game like for E.g Happy wheels however to have this option you need to use a default aero desktop background like the default windows seen on the picture.
99 FPS

Now we have the 99 FPS tab which is based alot around the FPS Counter and some factors to do with your videos. 99 FPS is basically a counter seen in the top left part of your screen showing your fps setting. However this can be hidden by simply ticking the hide overlay button located towards the bottom right of the fraps spftware. Benchmark settings are what i believe this counter is based of off that being either FPS , Frametimes or even MinMaxAvg. Also a bog part of this software is hotkeys these are assigned buttons used to activate certain features these are even used to record as i will explain in the movies tab.
Movies

Now we have the main part of Fraps for any desiring youtube , dailymotion video maker the movies tab this has all the vital parts such as where your recordings shall be saved. I Advise making a new folder especially for recordings as it can get abit messy and its great to be organised. One of the ost vital parts of recording on the PC is what FPS Rate you record at the higher you do the better until a certain extent where your computer will simply lag alot resulting in less video quality i record at 60 and i believe any above is faster than the human eye can see another cool fact. There is also a size you want to record in them 2 options being full-size or half. This basically means do you want to record at your full screen resouloution ( more graphically demanding but better quality) or at half this maning if your resouloutin is 1200 x 1080 your video will come out at 600 x 540 that resulting in standard quality so i recommend full size if your computer can handle it. Next in the top left part of the software theres sound setting this basically states what you want to record sound out of. Also if you want to do Live-Commentarys simply tick record external input box and selct the mic below as your desired voice output device. Also if you dont want your FPS Rate to fluctuate during vids theres the option to lock the framerate which i highly recommend.Hotkeys also feature again. As you can see F9 is my vid capture key.

Finally the last tab of frap is the option of taking a screenshot of your game. Say that totally WTF moment in a game of COD you can take a pic of it once againg using hotkeys. Features of this tab include choosing what image format your picture will be in and the option to show your frame rate of the moment you take the pic.
I Hope my guys has helped you it took me a long time to type. ENJOY!!!
