i dont think they have a short temper at all i personally think that they are an amazing type of dog, and they are very protective for there owners. unlesss they treat them wrong and train them to be vicious.

people think there the most aggressive dog out there when a Rottweiler,sharpei, and chows are way more violent ive owned pits all my life i even had a pit that was fighting dog he had scars torn ears and was almost beaten to death had a fractured skull and some other broken bones that dog would not bark he would get scared if someone yelled but he was the most lovable dog i ever owned he would try to sit on you and just always want to be near people and just act like a puppy he was 7 years btw, the only bad thing about him was if you ignored him he would like do a squeal then like try and high five you but would end up smacking you in the face. but the pits that do attack where either because they where being messed with,were fighting dogs, protecting/guard dogs, or scared. I right know have 2 female pits who are both 120lbs who only bark when people knock on the door i dont think pits are bad at all any dogs could do damage to someone like i bet if there was a bunch of german shepherd attacks or some other dogs they would start to be hated on also

It's not really full breed pitbulls that are the problem, I live in northern ireland and PITBULL TERRIERS are illegal they are vicious dogs, there's nothing wrong with normal pitbulls.

I Live in the republic off ireland, Their not illegal doewn hear, a Full Bred Pitbul American Pitbull Terrier (apbt) and then you can get other Types off Bull Dogs, I Have 1,

Because they are known to be agressive. In their head, Filling up their skull is their jaw muscle. Tiny Brain + Big muscle = "Lock Jaw"

They are infamous for being bad dogs.

because they are just natural fighters i was riding my bike minding my own business like 5 years ago and a pitbull comes out of nowhere and just chases me for a good 3mins the whole time i was kicking it in the face while riding down the road and it still came after me they are just nuts!!!

They are vicious!!! My buddy was attacked by one and gets 1 million in cash at age 18 cause of it.
