i dont think i will get windows 8 not because of this but it will cost alot and i dont really like the layout

This is very true, I know there are various programmes on my PC of which I would not like people to see I have installed, hopefully it will be optional, as this effectively is an invasion of privacy. I'm sticking with good old trusty Windows 7.

Its understandable that they would do this, it may stop some hackers.
