The method in which the console is modified to run unsigned code. The outcome has no difference what so ever. All thats different is a rgh takes about 20 seconds longer to boot up.

Basically what he said^ but if your buying anything, go jtag. Definitely better with booting times, and whats better to tell friends? I got a jtag! "Sweeeet!!" Or, i got a RGH! " The f*ck is that?" lol

everything is right except instead of 20 sec longer boot time it that the jtag boot times dont very not trying to be a d>ck or anything

If you're looking from a noob standpoint, there's really not that much of a difference. Now about everything you can do on a RGH you can do on a JTAG to.
The RGH's seem to have a little longer boot time though.
If you want to get a really detailed explanation just search it on google.
