You have to do ALOT more thing then that. You have to link your bank account via the numbers on a check and accept $1 deposits so they know it is not a hacked account.

I actually just added a credit card and I bought gold... I put in to verify my account, but for some reason my bank just wouldn't accept the money sent to PP.

I have a credit card on my paypal as well, but it is still not verified. When you add a credit card, it lifts your spending limit. But once you hit that limit you will have to verify it.
