Worst things that have happened in my area..

Columbine, back when I lived in Littleton with my parents. I went to Columbine for my freshman year (this way of course way after the shooting.)

And, the recent Aurora shootings. I live in Aurora now, on my own (have since summer '11.) and it happened about 4 blocks from my apartment.

Seems Colorado gets popular for all the wrong reasons, even though it's really a fantastic place.

Well I live in Aurora, so im sure you all know the worst thing thats happened in my area.

I also live in aurora(opposite side of town from the theater), but its kinda sad that people have started to look at Colorado as a horrible place to live just because we have had a few crazy people do some horrible things. The reality is that things like this happen everywhere, and where it happens has nothing to do with it.

My next door neighbours house had a gas leak, and it lit fire! Blew the roof off.

Whats your worst things that have happend in your area.

Wow.. The worst that I can think of that happened by me is the college downtown had over 100 bomb threats last year. (Pitt)

There was some guy that planted a suitcase, which some people thought it was a bomb at a gas station about 5 minutes from my house. The bomb squad came out and everything.

The house next door to my grandma was making drugs and one day there was a police raid with lots of vans parked outside the house with the front door broken open...

for me there was like 3 police helicopters and about 20 police cars driving round my area because some nutjob abducted a girl it was **** crazy spotlights and sirens everywhere!

I bet half of these stories are made up by the people so it looks like they live in a 'rough' area. Makes me laugh.
