The medals are just to show how long you've been playing the game, as most of them are unlocked via just playing the game (Get 100 kills with ___ for example)

You can't raise your ELO Rank in Offline matches, you can only earn awards and raise stats.

yes its a pretty good game.The reason alot of people have a bad view on it.
is because alot of people are trying to compare this with CoD.
both in which have there pros n cons
