itll come off the bat faster on a fast pitch but thats only if you hit it on the sweet spot. Wood has a very limited sweet spot. Slow you can hit it anywhere on the bat, wont go as far but itll be easier

I play high school baseball and scout baseball. We have to use wood in the scout league...but I prefer to use wood over BBCOR anyday. That's what you use, right? If not, BBCOR is a newer kind of bat that all -3 bats have. The ball comes off of the bat about 15-20 MPH slower to prevent injuries. If you use regular composite, stick with the CS5. Composite bats are loaded. Use that as long as you possibly can.
