It is a nice looking build, and I know the feeling of just wanting the best of the best in your build but you really don't need an i7 extreme processor.
Just my opinion, but if it makes you happy by all means

You don't need most of that, so stop seeing big numbers and going "ooh, fancehh! Want." First off, 990x and 3960x go for the same price in most places, so why wouldn't you go for the socket 2011..? Anyway, don't buy that stuff, I assure you won't make full use of any hexacore, maybe not even a normal i7 quad core..

Still, you can get better "overkill.". Get a 3960x, two high capacity SSDs and a really jacked up socket LGA 2011 mobo. You're still wasting money for no reason, what's your yearly income? If you actually order all super high end parts, let me know.
